What does it do?
Provides 10 identical outputs from 1 MIDI input.
There is no noticeable signal drop or delay in it's design.
This device saves daisy chaining
i.e. linking one device to the next.
How is it powered?
Comes with 1m 2.1 to USB lead to power from USB
No USB? Can also use pretty much any 5v DC 'wallwart' type power pack
With a 2.1 mm Positive on the plug tip.
Can I use a mobile phone power bank?

How do I connect it?
Plug in a master controller keyboard MIDI out into the MIDI IN jack on the splitter.
Plug in slave modules, synths and drum machines etc..into the 10 MIDI thru jacks
Plug in said Power adapter/USB lead.

As I've started to reintroduce more hardware synths in to my set up, I needed a way of getting midi to them. While searching for a suitable device, I came across the MINDBURNER 10 WAY MIDI THRU. To begin with it looks great. A real change from the offerings of the likes of Midiman, M-Audio, or MOTU. It's also considerably cheaper than the alternatives I could find. 1 in to 10 through at this price is pretty damn great to be honest. The most important thing is that it works, brilliantly. Not latency issues, no complicated set up, it's compact and the build quality looks excellent. If you want a great looking, well built solution to supplying midi to your ever growing hardware collection, this unit is a no brainer. More than happy with my purchase and if my midi needs become more demanding, I'll know where to come.
