MINDBURNER MIDI - STOP THE CLOCK
What does it do?
SPARKS said 'you gotta beat the clock' but I say stop it.
Filters out MIDI clock and active sensing from the MIDI data stream
Handy if you don't want spurious clock messages starting, stopping or slowing down a piece of gear.
It has 1 input and 2 outputs:
One filtered and one just an unfiltered copy of the incoming MIDI. A MIDI thru in effect.
Plug in a MIDI cable with clock and the device will send out two copies, but one will have the clock and active sensing messages removed.
Power:
This can be any 2.1mm 9-12v DC supply 1A+ capacity, tip positive (not supplied)
Can also use a USB Mini B (or micro depending on stock) lead to USB charger 1A or more (not supplied)

some customer feedback:
Great product, arrived quickly and safely packaged. I needed something to solve a problem with my Akai MPX16 and MPX8. The Akais would drop notes or be very laggy over MIDI which is a big problem when you are sequencing drum samples! Anyway the 'Mindburner Stop The Clock' has stripped out the clock and active sensing data that the Akai MPXs can't use anyway. This means the MIDI interface of the Akais isn't overloaded and they now work perfectly.
